AUTHOR'S NOTES

I never imagined sitting down to write and publish a book. The desire to write came during the COVID pandemic. As an active member in my church, the pandemic impacted life as I knew it when it came to attendance. Although our church never completely closed, in-person services were limited. Initially, studying and writing at home was my way of spending more time in the Word of God. The writings started with just one short story that I shared with a friend and became so much more. Studying and writing this devotional was a fun and rewarding experience. I pray that you enjoy it. HAPPY READING!!!

ABOUT THE LOGO

The idea of the logo for "Claimed By Him" came to me one evening while I was thinking about what Jesus means to me.

  • He's my anchor - The anchor represents stability.

  • He died for me - The top half represents Jesus on the cross.

  • He's my Savior -The letters J and C represent Jesus Christ.

  • He's my Redeemer -The color red represents the blood.

  • He's the way - The arrows on the end of the anchor represent the way to Jesus.
