Hearing God’s Voice: Finding Clarity in the Chaos

One of the most transformative moments in my faith journey came when I truly began to listen for God’s voice. Not just hearing it in passing but embracing it, letting it guide my life.

There was a time when my thoughts were consumed with worry, especially when life felt uncertain. One particular morning, I woke up with the words from 1 Kings 18:21 echoing in my spirit: “How long are you going to sit on the fence? If God is the real God, follow him.”

At first, I brushed it off, thinking, “Lord, I’ve already chosen You.” But God gently revealed how I was allowing the noise of my circumstances—financial concerns, personal ambitions, and even the desire for control—to drown out His truth. I was consumed with what might happen and forgot what God had already done.

In the stillness of that moment, He reminded me to focus not on the chaos but on His goodness. It was a call to trust Him fully, even when things felt uncertain. I realized I had let idols like self-reliance and financial security take up space in my heart, diverting my attention from His provision.

If you’ve ever struggled with hearing God amidst the busyness of life, I invite you to journey with me through Quieting The Noise: From My Head to My Heart. It’s more than a book—it’s an invitation to silence the noise and listen to the One who’s been speaking all along.
